Construction time-lapse

We document construction progress and turn it into an accelerated film. We provide long-term construction time-lapse for contractors, developers and engineers in Madrid and across Spain.

We plan viewpoints, install cameras, check captures and edit the final film. Months of work become a few minutes, with material to present progress to clients and investors.

A visual record of your construction project

Long-term time-lapse: from site start to the final film

Time-lapse records photographs at programmed intervals to show a site’s transformation over weeks, months or years. We adapt installation, camera numbers and maintenance visits to building, refurbishment and engineering projects.

We offer standalone Full HD cameras with optional 4K upscaling in editing, and 6K capture systems with potential remote monitoring. The choice reflects duration, access, power and connectivity: these are different solutions with distinct capabilities and budgets.

Installation and regular maintenance

We install cameras protected for outdoor use and agree maintenance visits for the site’s duration and conditions. We check mounts, framing, batteries and captures to maintain planned coverage and backup copies.

Quality and system defined from the start

The system reflects video use and project requirements: Full HD capture with optional 4K upscaling, or 6K capture cameras. The quote specifies equipment and delivery quality, distinguishing capture resolution from editing resolution.

Access to construction progress

For standalone equipment, captures are shared on a private server after agreed collection visits. Remote access requires a compatible system and connection conditions. We define how and when you can view progress.

Hard Rock Café construction: time-lapse, drone and ground-level cameras

These examples show accelerated construction progress combined with ground-level and aerial footage to explain the process and its details.

We plan each phase with you

How we produce construction time-lapse

  1. Define scope. We review location, expected duration and milestones, agreeing what you need for internal review, communication or promotion.
  2. Select viewpoints. We assess framing and access for one or several cameras. Repositioning is reviewed as phases change.
  3. Programme captures. Intervals and schedules match construction activity. Time-lapse records periodic images, not continuous video.
  4. Check and back up material. Standalone systems normally need visits every two to four weeks to check equipment, replace batteries and collect captures.
  5. Share agreed progress. Material can be supplied on a private server after collection. Remote monitoring for compatible systems is defined separately.
  6. Edit the final film. We select key moments, adjust colour and condense progress. Contracted drone or ground-level footage can be integrated.

A construction record that also communicates your experience

Time-lapse shows transformation, explains phases and preserves a visual history. Contractors and developers gain their own images for presentations, websites, social media and corporate films. We can add captions and project data you supply.

Projects to explore: our Acciona Valdebebas coverage combines time-lapse, drone and ground-level filming with monthly delivery. At H2O Shopping Centre, long-term time-lapse joined drone and ground-level filming to show the renovation’s before and after.

Cameras and coverage options

Time-lapse cameras adapted to site conditions

We use our own equipment and protected outdoor cameras. Before installation, we assess mounts, weather exposure, access and expected development. Regular visits allow framing and recorded material to be checked.

Can time-lapse work without electricity or internet?
Yes. Our wire-free standalone systems use batteries and local storage. Battery life can reach approximately 30 days depending on configuration and conditions; visits are planned for each project.

Can I view progress remotely?
Standalone material is shared after collection. Remote monitoring requires compatible equipment and confirmed power and connection conditions. We explain what is feasible for your site.

What quality will the film have?
The usual standalone option captures Full HD with optional 4K upscaling in editing. We also offer 6K capture cameras. Resolution and delivery format are specified in the quote.

Time-lapse for one-day operations

We also record individual activities such as assembly, machinery movements and work completed within hours. Camera positions and framing show the sequence clearly, from a fixed viewpoint or with movement where conditions permit.

These sequences can complement drone filming and ground-level shots. For regular coverage with several techniques, see monthly comprehensive construction coverage. For a general overview, explore construction video coverage.

A production team coordinated with your site

Installation and filming days are planned with the project manager. We agree access, schedules and locations to minimise interference with construction activity.

Operators use required protective equipment and follow the site’s access and safety requirements. Before each visit, we review what can be filmed and from where.

Time-lapse can be a standalone service or combined with other productions. For periodic images supporting reports or communication, explore construction drone photography.

Construction time-lapse quote

Cost depends on duration, camera numbers, maintenance and deliverables. We define the system and editing your project needs in Madrid or elsewhere in Spain.

Send the location, start date and expected duration. Explain remote-access, drone, ground-level filming or interim-delivery requirements. Plans and photographs can be attached to your email.
